Ram Bhutan Fruit Plant

The Ram Bhutan fruit plant, also known as the rambutan tree, is a medium-sized tropical tree (Nephelium lappaceum) producing edible fruits. It's an evergreen tree that can grow up to 15-24 meters (49-79 ft) tall. The leaves are alternate, pinnate with 3-11 leaflets, and the fruits are round or ellipsoid with a leathery skin covered in soft spines, giving it a hair-like appearance, hence the name "rambutan" from the Malay word "rambut" meaning "hair".
